Elizabeth (Lizzie) Williamson hails from the Island of Martha’s Vineyard off the coast of Massachusetts. She has a BA in English and a BA in Secondary Education from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). She is currently working towards a Master's in Reading and Curriculum at Eastern Michigan University.

Ms. Williamson brings her love of literature and writing to her classroom. At the University of Michigan, she was one of the lead writing consultants for Sweetland Writing Center – assisting in all versions of the writing process across disciplines. Outside of the classroom, you can find Ms. Williamson as “Coach Lizzie” with the Girl’s Varsity Tennis team in the spring. As a former competitive tennis player, she loves empowering female athletes through mindful and intentional training. Beyond her roles at Huron High School, Ms. Williamson loves to stay active, read avidly, and cheer on her Wolverines!
