自2001年起，. Wright has been a part of the Huron High School English department. Throughout her years, she has taught in various areas of English along with online, adult education reading, and technology courses.

While she enjoys teaching in her subject area, she also believes it is important to guide students as they develop beliefs about what they can accomplish, explore ideas about making good decisions, and decide on the best methods for working with others.
